Tijax
Tijax is the nawal of the obsidian blade — its two edges marking the duality of existence, the original separation. From this fragmentation of wholeness, suffering arises. And yet, it is also the power of harmonization.

As the patron of medicine and curing, the same blade that wounds also removes what doesn't belong. The cut gives way to something new. Discernment and reflection are its deepest gifts. It is the mirror of truth. From suffering, we reflect. From reflection, we find our purpose and contributions in a world of fragmentation.
Tijax supports us in finding what’s throwing us out of balance. It teaches that severing the illusion of separation is how we find our place in the natural equilibrium of life. As the day sign of healers, it carries agility in both physical and spiritual realms, pruning what has outgrown its usefulness, cutting through disharmony and illusion with precision.
Honest self-examination is the practice. The obsidian mirror doesn’t judge what it reflects. It simply shows us where we’ve drifted from our center, and what must be tended to restore harmony.
