Welcome! I’m Diana Paez, student, artist, and author of Walking the White Road–an online study platform born from my deep devotion to Mayan Ritual Cosmology.
I explore and share the wisdom of the Cholq’ij; the Mayan Sacred Calendar and the Mesoamerican worldview as a spiritual discipline.
The White Road refers to the Mayan term Saq’ Be’: the white/sacred road, the Milky Way, and the spiritual path of one’s life.

In 2023, I opened a knowledge base on Substack to explore the Cholq'ij and offer a place to learn, grow, and exchange as a community.
Through my interactive study, I help hearts and minds not only connect with the cyclic wisdom of the Cholq'ij, but find practical ways to apply its guidance in modern life.
I am now expanding this discipline into a virtual study group and other services for those interested in enriching their knowledge, development, and connections on this path.

As a spiritual foundation and technology, it is primarily used in Guatemala for daily decisions, self-knowledge, personal development, healing, and ceremonies by various Mayan lineages.
Although it contains components of astronomy, its living order of energies is not astrological, it is dimensional. Many may recognize it by its Mexican Yucatec name: Tzolk'in.
