Aj

Aj represents young maize — the shoot, the sprout, the moment of emergence. From this image arises the entire symbolic field of Aj: renewal, newness, the inexhaustible forward movement of life. This meaning is further reinforced by the myth of the canes that wither and then regenerate — death giving way to new life, always.

Aj

Aj is what the Creator uses to renew and renovate the entire Universe. All is being renewed. Nothing stands still. Life always moves forward, toward the future. It does not go backward. Scientists have struggled to explain this directionality — and perhaps it resists explanation, because its source is not mechanical but spiritual: the Creator and Former is always moving toward the manifestation of a potential, toward the expression of its own perfection. It always moves forward.

Aj is the regenerator moving toward a horizon. Nature moves forward, and we move with it. This force never stops renewing us. Where, then, do you think it is taking you? The future.

Aj knows that our future is abundance — this is its program. An ancestral program, marked by Spirit. When a parent brings a child into the world, the natural and deepest impulse is to wish them a good future, a great future. The tendency of the ancestors is the same: they bless the future of new generations. They want us to have more, to go further, to flourish beyond what they could.
